Dentures

Dentures, also known as false teeth, are a type of dental prosthesis for people missing one, some, or all of their teeth. The fabrication of a denture to replace missing teeth usually helps patients with their eating and speech. It can also protect the remaining teeth, prevent the face from sagging and improve the patient's self-confidence.

What are my options?

Many options are available to replace your missing teeth such as dental implants, bridges, dentures. If you choose to replace your missing teeth with dentures, there are multiple types of dentures.

Their fabrication typically take multiples appointments and are fabricated with the help of a dental laboratory specialized in dentures.

Stability can be improved by placing dental implants to hold the denture in place

Partial Dentures

These are  for a patient who still has some healthy teeth. Partial dentures are made with a metal or plastic framework that attaches to your natural teeth while providing a realistic looking replacement for your missing teeth.

Conventional Dentures

If all of your teeth are missing or need to be removed, conventional full dentures are an excellent artificial option. We can fit you with natural looking dentures.

Immediate Dentures

If you have teeth that need to be extracted and do not want to leave the office without teeth. Immediate dentures may be an option. The denture will be fabricated before the extraction day and on the day of the extraction your denture will be delivered to you. It is important to remember that since the denture was fabricated prior to your extractions, the denture may need more adjustments since everyone heals differently. Eventually you may need a new set of dentures once all the healing has taken place.
