Dr. Joseph Mejia
General Dentist
Joseph Mejia, D.D.S is a general dentist practicing in Cape Coral. After practicing in the East coast of Florida, he decided to join Dr. Walter Bicknese at Elite Coral Dentistry.
Dr. Mejia received his undergraduate and graduate degree from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in 2010. He then completed an Advance Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and a Fellowship program at the University of Connecticut. He also fulfilled an Implant Fellowship program from the University of Nevada. Dr. Mejia trained at the Pikos institute in Florida and took multiple implant courses in the United States and in Colombia. Dr. Mejia has completed hundreds of continued education courses in all aspects of general dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, root canal therapy (endodontics), dental extractions, fix and removable prosthesis, oral surgery, etc. His passion for dentistry and commitment to excellence will ensure that you enjoy outstanding oral care and wear a beautiful smile for a lifetime.
Dr. Mejia gives back to his community by participating in volunteered activities such as the Florida Mission of Mercy which provides dental care to the under served population. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing tennis, travelling, and learning how to ski!

Dr. Walter Bicknese
General Dentist
Walter Bicknese was born and raised in New York. He has been married for 50 years and has two daughters and one grandson, all of whom are residing in Florida.
He attended New York University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, and upon discharge opened a private practice on Long Island, where he practiced for ten years.
With his love of boating, fishing and golfing and the great outdoors, he decided that Florida would be a better fit for his lifestyle. In addition to his other interests, he is a wildlife advocate who very much enjoys sharing his knowledge with his grandson. And, as anyone who knows him will attest, he very much enjoys the culinary pleasures of life with family and friends.
He has an established practice in Cape Coral since 1985, and is a well-respected member of the dental community.

Front Desk
Originally from Clearwater Florida, Farah lived mostly in Charlotte NC practicing as a Dental Hygienist for over 20 years.
Moving back to her home state in 2016, She has enjoyed being just as valuable on the other side of the chair. When not in the office her life happily revolves around a husband and 2 Frenchies named Butters and Bebe.

Lori
Dental Hygienist
Lori was born and raised in Wisconsin. She graduated from Marquette University. After working in private practice for many years, she and her husband relocated to Cape Coral in 2017.
Lori is passionate about her work as a hygienist, keeping patients calm and comfortable during their care. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach, "shark toothing", kayaking, and spending time with her husband, their 2 dogs, family and friends.

Roz
Dental Hygienist
Roz was raised in small farming community, in Windsor, Wisconsin. After she graduated from dental hygiene school she moved to Cape Coral.
She takes pride in her work and loves her patients. They are truly like family to her. She presently lives with two dogs and a kitty. During the past 25 years, she has fostered, adopted and found “Fur-ever” homes for numerous dogs, in her spare time.

Dental Assistant
Stacey was born in Southern California and has lived in Cape Coral for 37 years. Over the years, she has enjoyed living and working in Cape Coral and raising her son. She and her husband have been married for 37 years and have enjoyed traveling and camping in State Parks.
When not working she enjoys finding new recipes and cooking for her family as well as gardening and growing the herbs she will be using.
She loves her job, and learning new things, as well as talking with all the patients that keep returning as well as all the new patients she will be meeting.
