Dental Care for Fort Myers Patients
Finding a dentist you trust takes time, and many patients worry about being passed from office to office, being sold treatment they don't need, or receiving a bill they didn't expect. Patients from Fort Myers come to our Elite Coral Dentistry office in Cape Coral for care that stays with one team.
Your checkups, fillings, cosmetic work, implants and root canal treatment can all be planned and carried out at the same practice. Root canals are done in-house by Endodontist Dr. Meghann Lussier, and implants are placed and restored at the same office. That means fewer handoffs and no separate appointment at another office on another day. For patients who want to change the look of their whole smile, a Full Smile Makeover can bring together veneers, take-home whitening, Invisalign, bonding and crowns in one plan.
Led by Dr. Joseph Mejia, who has owned the practice since July 2022, the office has served Cape Coral from the same address since 1985. You can read what patients say on our reviews page and see treatment results in our Smile Gallery.

Dental Care That Fits Life in Fort Myers
As the seat of Lee County, Fort Myers is a busy working city, and it is also home to many retirees and seasonal residents who spend the winter months in Florida. Patients here range from young families to people planning treatment around the time they spend in the state.
For working patients, appointments run Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and longer treatment can be planned as a clear schedule from the start. For seasonal residents, the stages of treatment such as implants or crowns can be arranged around the months you are here, so each visit is used well.
Fort Myers also has a long-established Spanish-speaking community. Treatment consent and aftercare depend on understanding what is being proposed, so being able to talk it through in Spanish is part of good care, not a marketing point.
Whichever stage of life you are at, every plan starts the same way: an examination, a clear explanation of your options, and the cost explained before treatment begins.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can my whole family see the same dentist?
A. Yes. The practice looks after adults' everyday dental care and sees children for routine checkups and cleanings, so the whole household can be cared for by one family-owned team. Booking family appointments together keeps everyone's records and care in one place.
Q. Do you accept my dental insurance?
A. The practice accepts most PPO dental and PPO Medicare dental plans, listed on our patient information page. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so call (239) 542-4626 and the team can check yours. CareCredit is also available if you want to spread the cost of treatment.
Q. Can I have a root canal without being referred elsewhere?
A. Yes. Root canals are done in-house by Endodontist Dr. Meghann Lussier, so the diagnosis and treatment happen at the same practice. That avoids a separate appointment at another office on another day while a tooth is painful.
Q. Can I speak to the dentist in Spanish?
A. Yes. Dr. Joseph Mejia speaks English and Spanish, and Endodontist Dr. Meghann Lussier speaks English, French, Spanish and Cantonese. You can ask for an appointment in Spanish when you call or send a message to the text line.
Q. What should I do in a dental emergency?
A. If you are in severe pain or have broken a tooth, call (239) 542-4626 to make an appointment. The office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Fillings and dental emergencies can often be treated the same day.
